Gameplay
The game, for better or for worse, does not deviate much from the changes in Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection that the originals already had. Players will assume the role of Nathan Drake or Chloe Frazer as they engage in globe-trotting quests filled with action as they complete various missions. Storyline
Outside his series, Nathan Drake had an ultimate quest to locate the last known treasure believed to belong to Henry Avery’s curse in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. There is a well-paced story in the game where the plot has its share of variable twists, while the main character Drake embarks on a journey looking for his past as well as his deadliest enemy.
India is the canvas as Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross put their differences aside and work together to search for a lost artifact of unimaginable value. The Game’s narration has surprises but isn’t the focus, an unfamiliar narrative style to the Uncharted series where tension is perhaps the single strongest motivating factor for the gameplay experience.
Performance
As of now, it is safe to say that there’s some camera work in the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection to still get excited about as it makes full use of what the PS5 has to offer. The ports arrive with enhanced textures, shadows, and, improved draw distances making the screen look more filled up. The sound design, however, is not echoed, since all audio effects produced are quite good and the music included is quite good, too, and creates the appropriate ambiance.
